Jeff valdez was born and raised in the small town of San Luis, Colorado,the oldest town in Colorado the door steps to the rugged Colorado Rockies. Jeff brings a cross-culture perspective to the stage be combining his own blend and style of Country, Blues and classic rock infuences into his music.
He started playing music at the age of 12 years old. and that has become a way of life for over 4 decades.
As A kid he began making his living playing with local old timers who would sit him on a stool and let him play along. In his teens he played for tips in the Plaza in Taos, New Mexico, which ignited the fever that has not stopped. Jeff continues to entertain today with that same enthusiam.
Jeff has traveled around the world entertaining people in such places as Russia. Poland, Germany, Finland, Norway,Denmark Belgium,England Ireland and South Korea. In 1978 he Traveled to Ireland. What was supposed to be two week trip ended up lasting a year.Upon returning to the united states he relocated to Santa Fe, New Mexico where he entertained at the La Fonda Hotel for a 4 year gig, aplace he called his living room for many years.
In 2001-2004 jeff did four tours ( 120 shows ) in South Korea entertaining our Troops as a solo artist. Jeff is currently located in Southern Arizona, where he is working on the next part of his journey..
